History
In mid-2023, Sunday Ventures invested in & ultimately acquired a majority stake in Cesena FC, an historic Italian football club, then in the 3rd tier of professional calcio.
Within one year, the team won the Serie C championship, tying the league record, and was promoted to the 2nd tier. Now, in Serie B, Cesena FC is in playoff contention and striving for promotion to Serie A within the next 2-3 years.
Sunday Ventures has since evolved into a multi-club ownership group (MCO) and is currently in the process of acquiring premier clubs in the U.S. & Brazil.

Location
We acquire clubs in premier destinations that have strong culture & community with rich sporting tradition, passionate fanbases & dense athletic talent and are amongst the most desirable places to live & visit in the world. While history can be created, fanbases can be grown and academies can be developed, a club’s location is set in stone.
Sport Science
We utilize a data-centric approach on the sporting & commercial sides of our clubs, as well as a highly personalized approach with respect to player recruitment & development. We are experts in sport performance and focus on developing our athletes into the best versions of themselves, physically & mentally.
Internationalization
We have unmatched experience in global brand development, focused on premier national brands that have international potential. While we rely heavily on data analytics, we also maintain a strong human touch with relentless focus on the community & unique cultural DNA of each of our clubs. We simultaneously provide pathways across countries & leagues for our players & staff.

Cesena FC
Cesena FC (formerly AC Cesena) is a professional Italian soccer club in Emilia-Romagna, Italy. Located in an area known as Wellness Valley, Cesena has a rich soccer history & tradition (13 seasons in Serie A, 34 seasons in Serie B), world-class stadium (FIFA compliant), top tier youth academy, and large international fan base. The team recently won the 2023/2024 Lega Pro championship and was promoted back to Serie B. The club is owned by a consortium of Italian-American executives & investors, who are passionate about sport & their Italian heritage.
